Kaas Pathar : A Place I Still Don't Get Tired Of
Kaas Plateau (Pathar) : A Place I Still Don't Get Tired Of
I've been to Kaas Plateau so many times, I've lost count. Being from Satara it's always been one of those places we visit when we want a break but don't want to go too far. Still, every time i go, it feels a little different.
This time, i went in May, Yes, May has come and along with it, the monsoon has arrived. It rained heavily and is still raining even now. The weather suddenly felt like monsoon. The sky was cloudy, the air was cool, and the smell of wet mud made the whole ride even better. This time monsoon came early.
Me and my friend took my two-wheeler and rode up in that light rain. Everything looked fresh the trees, the grass, even the road. Kaas wasn't in full bloom yet, but that little pre-monsoon magic gave it a praceful vibe. I just walked around, sat quietly in my usual spot, and enjoyed the cool breeze.
It's not just about the flowers or the views. It's the feeling you breathe deeper, think slower, and forget everything fro a while. And even after so many visits, i know I'll keep coming back. If you are going to place like peaceful and feels like home then you should definitely visit Kaas Plateau In Satara.
