A Peaceful Pause at Ghatge Inamdar Shri Vitthal Rakhumai Mandir, Yodogopal Peth, Satara

Since my house is in Kondave, Satara, i don't come to the city very often. My class is at 4 PM, and my dad has work early in morning, so he can't bring me back and forth evry day.

Today, i stepped out around 10:30 AM. My mom asked me to go to Pachpali Haud and offer Oti for Mahalakshmi Devi since it was Tuesday. So, my dad and i went together to complete the ritual. The temple was decorated beautifully today, and i felt a deep sense of calm there.

Later, i got a call from Shruti saying she had already gone out. That meant i couldn't even visit her place like i had thought. I didn't tell my dad all this. I just said, " You can go ahea," and he dropped me off.

Now i was alone, with nowhere to ho and a lot of time on my hands. The sun was blazing, and honestly, there aren't many peaceful public places in Satara where you can just sit and wait ot relax. I kept wandering around, but i had no idea where to ho next.

As i walked, my eyes landed on temple i pass by almost every day the Ghatge Inamdar Shri Vitthal Rakhumai Mandir in Yadogopal Peth. Strangely, even though I'd seen it so many times, i had never actually gone inside.

But today, something told me to step in.1

There was cool shade inside, and a calm5, open atmosphere i quitely walked in, folded my hands, bowed down, and said in my heart "You always shoe me the way."

There was enough space to sit peacefully, away from the noise and heat. I realized i couldn't just come here all along to spend time instead of roaming around. I felt like thos temple was offering me the pause i didn't even know i needed.
